Waterfalls of Finca Rio Cashapa Mystic
“Finca Rio Cashapa” El Rubi and El Cañon waterfalls and 100 acre nature preserve in Santa Rita 12 kms from Copan. Tours by reservation only.
Two beautiful waterfalls with swimming and picnic areas, old pine and mahogany forest with native plants and birds… the mystic “El Cañon, The Canyon” with 80 feet walls with life size Mayan figures carved by nature… a four meter waterfall with 90 feet long pristine water swimming area.
One kilometer of river trails and 3 km of trails leading to Los Planes Village, “El Rubi” water fall with a natural Jacuzzi and swimming inside a cave like doom,… picnics by the river or on the plateau overlooking the valley while pine trees whistle in a gentle breeze and air so pure…
Tours $25.00 per person and includes four-wheel drive transportation to and returning Copan Ruins. Morning afternoon tours with local guide. Refreshments , sandwiches or barbeque lunch by request. Tour last 3hrs to 3 ½ hours.
